About usWe are the Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR), the largest global network of civil society organisations working to strengthen the resilience of people most at risk from disasters and climate change. With two trustees nearing the end of their terms, we are now recruiting two new trustees to join our Board at an exciting moment as we prepare to launch our 2026–2030 global strategy.Key responsibilities* Provide strategic oversight and support effective governance * Ensure compliance with charity law and good governance practice * Oversee financial sustainability, risk management, and organisational performance * Support and challenge the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team * Champion equity, inclusion, localisation, and community‑led action * Act as an ambassador for GNDR’s mission and valuesWhat we’re looking forWe are looking for individuals who can bring strategic insight, sound judgement, and a commitment to equity and localisation.
