Currently, DRC is seeking a highly qualified national Site Management Coordinator based in Amman, Jordan. DRC is managing its operations in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) under the direction of the country office in Amman and field offices located in the Gaza Strip. DRC oPt is active since 2023 and is implementing an integrated response encompassing the Site Management, Protection and Humanitarian, Disarmament and Peacebuilding (HDP) sectors. In the last two years the country office has widened its portfolio with funds from ECHO, DANIDA, CDCS, GFFO, SIDA and private foundations. DRC oPt is currently one of the largest Site Management actors in Gaza managing over 54 IDP sites directly and in coordination with local strategic allies.About youResponsibilitiesCoordination and representation• Collaborate with relevant internal and external technical experts on issues related to Site Management• Represent DRC at relevant coordination meetings• Ensure integration of site management activities with other DRC sectors• Coordinate with sector counterparts in other locations in the implementation of common funded projects• Ensure good representation and reputation of sector at all levels• Actively participate in internal coordination meeting• Ensure and actively participate in regular site management meetingsGeneral Programming & Operations• Contributes to the daily operation with comprehensive knowledge in site management• Carrying out multi-sectoral needs assessment• Ensure efficient and effective program implementation while following the budget, progress indicators and work plan• Participate in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual highlights/reports and proposals and budgets for donorsProject development• Provides technical guidance, including the development of ToT for local partners and field-based site management teams• Write the job descriptions for the field-bases site management teams functions (Assistants, Officers, Team Leaders and Manager)• Assist in developing project plans and budgets for funding• Assist in developing the projects’ Monitoring & Evaluation tools• Assist in project implementation and reporting• Provide inputs for bi-monthly SITREPs and any other relevant programme productAs Coordinator the post-holder is responsible for the following:• Responsible for coordinating strategy and operations for Site Management activities in Palestine• Technical line management responsibilities with site management field teams and partners, for both strategy and operations• Provides expert advice and support to set strategy and assure operational quality and compliance• AOB assigned by the HoPExperience and technical competencies:• Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in sector area working for an INGO• Documented skills in project planning and design, drafting, calculation and technical writing• Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Experience in project development• Experience working with national partners, local/government authorities, and UN organisations• Full professional proficiency in EnglishEducation:* Master’s degree in humanitarian affairs, political or social sciences, or other relevant field. * If Bachelor’s in relevant field, an additional 3 years of humanitarian work experience is required. * Certification as CCCM ToT, ABA certification preferred.Languages:* English (Professional Working Proficiency) * Arabic (Professional Working Proficiency) preferablyKey stakeholders: (internal and external)* Site Management Cluster Coordinator and partners * HDP, Protection and SWI programme teams * Site Management field teams and local partners * Support teams (HR, Finance and Supply Chain) * Programme support unit (Grants, Meal and Localization) * Gaza Area Manager * Head of ProgrammesIn this position, you are expected to demonstrate DRC’ five core competencies:* Striving for excellence: You focus on reaching results while ensuring an efficient process. * Collaborating: You involve relevant parties and encourage feedback. * Taking the lead: You take ownership and initiative while aiming for innovation. * Communicating: You listen and speak effectively and honestly. * Demonstrating integrity: You uphold and promote the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in relation to our values and Code of Conduct, including safeguarding against sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment.We offerone year contract with possibility for extensionBand: G1 non-managementWork location: AmmanStart date: Expected 1st June 2026HOW TO APPLYAll applicants must upload a cover letter and an updated CV (no longer than four pages) in English.
