Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT) calls for proposals from qualified organizations capable of supporting and managing a community of journalists under its "MiCT Fellowship for Critical Voices 2026" program in Yemen.1. The MiCT Fellowship for Critical Voices ProgrammeMiCT Fellowship for Critical Voices Program is designed for media professionals from countries experiencing crisis and conflict who hold journalistic integrity as a core professional value. Currently, the program concentrates on journalists and media creators from Afghanistan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, MENA region, Sudan, and Myanmar under a global mandate.Fellows are afforded financial and health assistance, expert safety guidance, online and in-person training, legal and psycho-social support, production counsel, and entry to a worldwide network of media professionals with shared values. MiCT requires Project Management and Community Support Services in the Middle East and Egypt to support journalists seeking safety in the region.3. Description of the RoleThe duration of the contract is until June 2026. The chosen organization, working as an independent entity under MiCT, will undertake the following responsibilities:* Hire and oversee a part-time Project / Community Manager and a Finance / Admin manager responsible for all program related activities, including regular events, consultations, and meetings. * Coordinate safe funds transfers mechanisms to the fellows in Yemen. * Onboarding and offboarding for approximately 5 - 8 Journalists and/or Media Makers (JMMs). * Provide support to Fellows as per needs analysis and modular structure of the fellowship program, including but not limited to: * Creation and management of safety measures for approximately 5 - 8 Journalists and/or Media Makers. * Organize in-country or regional relocations. * Identify and coordinate psychological and legal support mechanisms for the protection of JMMs. * Facilitate training, workshops, and consultancies according to the assessed needs of the fellows with coordination of MENA project’s management of MiCT. * Arrange support for fellows by providing necessary equipment or work materials to help sustain their work. * Conduct regular check-ins with MiCT's Project Manager and Project Officer. * Ensure regular submission of financial and activity reports to MiCT, in accordance with agreed timelines and formats.4.
