Qualifications and Education Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in media, Communications, Journalism, or related field. * 2–4 years of experience in media, communications, or humanitarian sector (preferred). * Strong photography and videography skills. * Experience with editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, etc.). * Excellent English and Arabic writing skills.General Work Experience:* Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Media experience * Experience in NGO Media preferredTechnical Skills & Knowledge:* Strong photography, videography, and editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva * Content creation and storytelling with a focus on ethical humanitarian communication * Social media planning and management across platforms like Facebook and Instagram * Knowledge of branding, media strategies, and NGO communication standardsLeadership & Soft Skills:* Creative storytelling and strong communication skills * Teamwork and collaboration with diverse stakeholders * Adaptability in field and emergency settings * Good time management and attention to detail * Problem-solving, initiative, and accountability * Cultural sensitivity and empathy when working with vulnerable communitiesLanguage Requirements:* Fluency in Arabic is required. * Proficiency in English is highly desirable.Abilities:* Creative Storytelling: Ability to produce engaging, ethical multimedia content that highlights humanitarian impact. * Technical Skills: Proficient in photography, videography, and editing tools to deliver high-quality outputs. * Communication: Strong planning and execution of media strategies and social media content. * Language & Culture: Fluent Arabic and strong English with culturally sensitive messaging. * Adaptability: Able to work in field conditions, emergencies, and under tight deadlines. * Collaboration: Works effectively with teams and stakeholders. * Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy, quality, and compliance with guidelines.Main Job Purpose:Action For Humanity (AFH) delivers high-impact humanitarian and development programmes in sectors including education, livelihoods, protection, and health.
