Business Development AssociateRole: Business Development Associate (REMOTE)Altamont Group is seeking a dynamic Business Development Associate to drive new business acquisitions across multiple service lines. This role offers a competitive base compensation, along with performance-based incentives and focuses on identifying opportunities, executing strategic outreach campaigns, and converting prospects into long-term clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in sales or business development with versatility across different markets and service offerings.Focus Areas1. Execute multi-channel sales campaigns including email, LinkedIn, direct messaging, and networking 2. Identify and qualify business opportunities across diverse focus areas (MERL, eLearning/Capacity Development/Training, Strategy & Policy, Quality Assurance/Accreditation, and Organizational Optimization) 3. Build and manage a comprehensive pipeline of prospects across various industry sectors 4. Conduct targeted outreach to generate high-quality leads 5. Develop potential leads/client lists for AG services 6. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients across AG’s diverse service offerings 7. Schedule and conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements 8. Present service offerings and customize solutions to meet client needs 9. Prepare research-based/evidence-driven reports, presentations, and briefs 10. Edit and update all business development materials, including websites, intranet content, email alerts, brochures, and social media content 11. Work closely with management to design and implement comprehensive business plans 12. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding 13. Track and report on sales activities, pipeline metrics, and revenue performance 14. Stay current on sector-relevant trends, emerging methodologies, and the broader competitive landscape to effectively support AG’s service offerings 15. Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients 16. Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, editing, etc.Required Skills & Experience1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field 2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management 3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets 4. Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills 5. Expert with Office365 including Word, PPT, Excel, and SharePoint 6. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures 7. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work 8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task 9. Understanding of business development concepts 10. Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly 11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 12. Flexible attitude toward receiving feedback 13. This is a remote/work from home role 14. Applicants must have their own laptop/desktop 15.
