For more information, please see Home – Chemonics International.The RolesChemonics is seeking exceptional Subject Matter Experts and Consultants for upcoming proposals and projects in the climate and civil maritime sectors:* Community‑led climate and disaster resilience * Livelihoods, workforce development, and inclusive economic adaptation * Local governance, policy, and regulatory reform * Climate finance, investment facilitation, and public‑private partnerships * Civil maritime, coastal governance, and port/community resilience * Gender equality, disability equity, and social inclusion and locally led development * Environmental resource management and biodiversity * Climate risk analytics, remote sensing, and digital decision‑support tools * Media, communications, AI and digitalisation, and knowledge sharing * ESG, sustainability, and carbon accountingEssential Experience and Knowledge* Post-graduate (Master’s) degree in climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, development, communications, finance, economics, business administration, law, or other related fields preferred * At least ten (10) years of experience in relevant subject matter delivering quality services. * Strong technical understanding of climate change impacts in the Philippines, including risks to vulnerable communities, livelihoods, infrastructure, and local governance systems * Knowledge and understanding of the needs of different stakeholders such as women, the elderly, people with disabilities, and others with special mobility needs including an ability to community with a wide range of stakeholders * Experience working with senior leadership across key Philippine government agencies, LGUs, civil society organisations, or community‑based institutions strongly preferred * Strong English communication skills required; knowledge of Tagalog or other Philippine languages is a plus * We are seeking Filipino nationals or expatriates currently based in the Philippines.HOW TO APPLYSend your CV and cover letter to [email protected].
